2010 Scholarship Applications are now available. Applications are due back May 1st. Applications must be mailed to: FOVAPA P.O. Box 502, Fultonville, NY 12072. Postmark deadlines will be strictly adhered to by the selection committee. Award winners will be notified on or before July 1, 2010. Accent on the Arts Scholarship Award Download Application This award is open to all high school seniors residing in the Fonda-Fultonville School District. Three scholarships of $100 each will be awarded: one in art, one in choral music, and one in instrumental music. Applicants must choose one category for consideration. All applications must be postmarked by May 1, 2010. Selection will be based solely on the content of the application. If no applications are deemed worthy in one or more categories, no award will be given in the specific category or categories. Past participation in FOVAPA programs is not required, but will be given preference. Friend of the Arts Scholarship Award Download Application This award is open to anyone of any age who will be enrolled in an accredited university, college or vocational school and who has participated in FOVAPA's formal program(s). One scholarship of $100 will be awarded. Preference will be given to applicants who have demonstrated their commitment to FOVAPA's work by cumulative meaningful volunteer work for at least one aspect of FOVAPA (i.e. board or committee member, festival volunteer, etc.) All applications must be postmarked by May 1, 2010. Selection will be based solely on the content of the application. |
